Re: 1998 V70 AWD Remove and Replace Rear Left Engine Mount

Hey! I'm currently looking into swapping out my engine mount as well. But I'm not seeing any bolts to hold the bottom part of the mount in place?! They must've gotten snapped off. I was wondering if you knew the measurements of the bolts that attach the bottom of the mount to the frame?

Please and thanks!

I wonder if it's just become clear to me how important this mount is—
I just replaced the top torque/firewall mounts on my new '00 XC because they were *completely* shot.
When installing the new ones, the holes don't even come close to lining up.
Could this be because the rear left mount needs adjusting?

Wondering if I should try to raise it up on the threads till the top mount holes align?
Or whether I should just jack the engine up, or whether this mis-alignment issue is a symptom of something else gone awry?

For what it's worth, the current rear left mount looks pretty good; still can see an edge of the OEM Volvo sticker on it, such that it appears to've been replaced at some point.
