I'd check voltage on relay coil, the pin coming from CEM, pin to chassis. If that checks I'd check volts on relay contacts.

Jumped the relay and probed things the correct way this time. Power is at the pump. but seams to be on the opposite wire shown on the wiring diagram (SB has power and BL is dark) but power is power (I hope). Unfortunately the pump I ordered was broken upon deliver, so the replacement will need to wait until next weekend. Thanks for the inputs. Bob H.

Yes, jump the relay and if it starts that's your issue. Like others have stated, I would not leave it jumped for long. As long as the car is powered the gas will be flowing.

Hi, can anyone tell me what the resistance of a 2003 petrol V70 fuel pump should be?
I am reading about 30 ohms on what I think is the fuel pump motor.
My pump had a 6-pin plug on the top of the white pump under the round hatch.
There are 5 wires on the plug, I am assuming that the thick BLACK and thick BLUE are me motor wires.
I have tried connection 12 volts to these and the pump will not run.

My car will not pump petrol, nothing at the fuel rail, any suggestions would be very much appreciated, Thanks Alan

2003 MY has a PEM module before the pump. These can limit power to the pump if they're faulty. Best to get a wiring diagram to get pinouts. There are two different PEM modules. One for a steel tank and one for plastic fuel tank.

What hatch side did you supply power to? The pump is on the right side but the wires to the pump may come from the left hatch.

When looking for power at the pump you're looking for a pulse of about 2secs of power if the engine isn't started.
