Yeah, a small vac leak might do it, definitely worth checking.

They don't switch mfg plants on a whim, it costs a lot of money to ship. If we say they are from Spain they are. How many bosch components on these cars fail prematurely ?
No company makes all their products perfectly, bosch makes so many things so maybe plug wires is not their forte and that is why volvo does not use them for this. I still have the original oem wires and I don't see the need to change them.
I've cut apart a bosch fuel filter and it is well made, a lot of filter paper. The cap and rotor is very strong. How many ecu failures do you see on these cars, and a ecu is very complex

We have a couple of threads run on this recently. Suffice it to say there is a lot of counterfeit Bosch stuff out there. If the price is too good to be true, it isn't Bosch. Buying from guys who say "its genuine Bosch but not in the original box" is just asking to be shorn. Use a reputable vendor who supports MVS if you don't want the hassle. The prices from any of these is competitive and they will stand behind their stuff.

I can relate to similar problem in mine. I did a full tune up with OEM wires and plugs Bosch cap and rotor from Spain as well6
