Thanks Regent. As soon as I noticed the hose blown and the AC quit working, I powered the AC off from the climate control panel. Is there a fuse I could pull that would keep it from engaging or better to just disconnect the wire?

To be safe, I'd wanna pull the wire off the coil teerminal just in case I forget
There is a fuse but I do not have your prints right now to see if that circuit is dedicated to the clutch

Example of Precision: Measure with a Micrometer, mark it with Chalk, and then cut it with an Axe.

In theory, it would not even start at all without pressure but I am super extra paranoid...

The low pressure switch being at atmospheric pressure will prevent the clutch from pulling in. More correctly, on a 99, the low pressure switch will tell the ECU not to engage the clutch.
