DIY front end toe alignment?

While you are in the mood to adjust toe-in you might as well set camber to a more positive setting. 850's are always negative and they need not be as much negative. IF you loosen the two bolts holding strut to steering knuckle/spindle and then pry between strut and spindle between the two flanges of strut at top it will push the top of spindle outward and camber will go towards positive. If you are wearing a single tire on the inside then I'd pry that inside wear side to its limit positive.
Did you establish a straight line with a tire crayon on the tread? Using the tread or sidewall is rarely accurate due to lateral runout of tire/wheel. Jack wheel off ground and have someone hold the tire crayon braced against something for stability while you turn the wheel and they mark a line on the tread. Measure between the lines.
