2001 XC70 Rough to No Idle after Trans Change

We had checked the wiring against this thread https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums ... =9&t=27232 and the trigger wire colors matched up.

I did not disconnect any wires but rather put new loom over the wires so that they had some protection as when new. but I did check.

I will check to make sure that the coil pack screws are clean to make sure of the ground as I did miss the ground wire that was in between 3- 4 originally. I will post back later tonight on any findings or not. Thanks again

Finally got to it. Sorry to take so long but had another project running concurrently.

Removed all coil packs cleaned connection surfaces and reconnected as well as the 2 ground points.

Checked all for signs of corrosion or white powder on internal sections.

Checked and rechecked for vacum leaks.

Coils trigger wire color #1=blue #2=brown #3=orange #4=tan #5=purple

Im going from the link above as I don't have a proper wire diagram but I think that they are correct.

End result same rough idle 600-1000 RPM with eventual engine stall.

Anyone out there? Taking it to the garage next week can't figure it out!
