Did you replace the thermostat when you replaced the ECT? Always replace as a pair since a bad thermostat can effect ECT readout.

How old are the Cap rotor and ignition coil?

I think you need to go back to isolating it as a fuel or ignition problem and even a compression possibility.

My bet is on ECT too since non-starting condition is temparature related.
Bad ECT can also make an engine to run rich.

Car WILL NOT run rich with bad ignition parts like cap,rotor or ignition coil without previous warning in a form of misfiring.
