1998 XC that I have not yet purchased?

Very nice condition for $1k. Ben, we hope she's not like a good looking woman who catches your eye but has a few issues At least you will be bringing any that arise to this forum and not leaving us for the S60 crowd.

What makes this XC look good is the black side and bumper trim like the 850 FWD wagons. It breaks up the expanse of paint and contrasts nicely on the white. A horizontal stripe/s (matches the black roof rails) also makes the car appear elongated.

What I also like, are the black rocker panel treatments that match tastefully to the front bumper with the bottom black molding.
There was much more work done with black in the rear that really only shows up on a white one.

the rear window and tail gate had some black work. Also the bottom of the rear side windows.

I am over my S60 phase. Something much better will have to grab me for some reason.
