Plum...please feel welcome to post your questions, that's why we are here. If I could figure out OEM vs aftermarket by googling I would be thrilled..I get a hornets nest of fora posts with contradictory information.

I would bite the bullet and put in the Volvo oil seal on your car, or at least a brand that someone can guide you with experience, not theory.

Someone scared me a little about doing the Rear Exhaust Cam Seal before the PCV.

But since it is quite a simpler job and would also allow me to drive again without burning oil around me.

It would inspire me, and I need to drive most probably to get some of the recommended tools that I do not have to do the PCV.

I am hoping the basic dipstick temporary modification and maybe even a vented oil cap will be enough pressure relief not to damage my Vehicle any further.

I highly doubt at this point that it is any coincidence that both Rear Cam Seals came loose at the same time!

IT points to pressure build up!
