Well, I have every thing off. Not terrible but not a lot of fun either.
Found an 80% blockage in the bottom of the breather box. Also found two cracked off hose lines.
Got everything cleaned. And good air flow through the block as I blow into the lower hole with tubing.
I did have to pull the fuel rail to get the intake off. Glad I had the 10mm crows foot, thanks again for the tips.

So I dropped a fair amount of coolant out of the block when I removed the breather hose.
Is this a concern when restarting, beyond adding coolant back in at reservoir when the coolant redistributes at temp?

Does the service kit include item number 13 in this diagram?

That's the little bugger that often gets clogged and it's near impossible to clean out the hard plastic line without breaking it.

13 nipple is part of the large tube, comes in one large piece and is very expensive
FCP does not include the tube as the price would scare buyers away./

We buy the XC90T6 part which includes that "V" circular metal tubing and the plastic parts down there and "mate" it to the rest of the pipe
$30 vs over $200!

Just add some coolant, run and "burp" the system.
Mod note. Jim passed away in early 2022, his contributions to this forum are immortal, and he is missed. RIP

Item 8 is a complete assembly of hoses, and includes items 13.

That's what I did on the wife's S80. The rest of the tubing that wraps around engine to the turbo plumbing was OK as-is.
