Update!
The issues continue to persist.
I brought the car to a mechanic yesterday morning and had a full diagnostic ran. The only code that he found was PO250A, which I can't seem to find a reference to online. We checked the fuelrail pressure - it was solid, there were no vacuum leaks, He couldn't figure it out.
The only recommendation that he had was to replace the Fuel Pump Relay Sensor (basically a fuse), so I ordered one and will give it a try.
The next thing on my list to replace if that doesn't work is the engine temp sensor, located just below the thermostat (which i'll go ahead and replace as well)

They should NEVER stay running after engine is turned off....doesn't matter how long the trip was.Rishjr wrote:Nope, the only time that happens is the usual, after a long trip.
