You may need to replace the spark plugs. They may have gotten fuel fouled. If you have access to a propane torch you may be able to burn the fuel off of the tips.

Thanks for the suggestion lummert. Before I tried it I put a set in that had dried after my previous attempts. Nice brown insulators. One thing I noticed on the previous attempt to start, was that it was pulling a lot of electricity when I put the neg wire on the battery, key off. Cousin could feel the noise suppression relay clicking when the ground wire was put on and taken off. I didn't think to check that today, chief concern was getting it out of the garage parking lot. Should've done that to begin with, I've a cousin with a large lot not two miles away, but we're not in touch as much since grandma passed on. Got the lyme disease dumbs is my problem!
