Is This an unusual amount of oil around the turbo?

Replacing the vacuum hoses is a bit of a job, but definitely, massively worth it from the amount of issues that good hoses prevent on these cars. Also, the silver iPD ones are going to look great when you're done.

So I was looking into the silicone intercooler hoses... They seem to run about $160 for the set. In my travels I also found the do88 website that has a beautiful RIP kit with the hoses for $371 shipped. The way I figure it (feel free to talk me out of this) if I was to get a RIP kit in the future, I would really just be wasting my money if I was to get the hoses now, right?

So it would make more sense, financially, and in the cars lifespan to get the full RIP kit? Right?

I've never done the RIP mod on any of my Volvos over the years, but what I do know is that the do88 hoses I have on this one are great. If you're set on doing the RIP, then it would be a waste to buy a separate set now.
But.
You do need new hoses, pretty much right away. :D
