Yeah it's a whole thing. But when you work 50+ hours a week sometimes it's all you have time for. My wife is on a $1 McChicken kick these days.

You have to plan ahead to kick this habit, and get that toxic crap out of your menu. I dropped 25 pounds when I did that. I still give myself a once a month regression but this is worth Doing for your health

Yeah we got basically hit with this new gig. It's so much money and you can just grab work anytime. I can't describe it any better than pulling money out of the air. Which is extremely hard to say "no" to. So we've been getting food out.

But we just took two days off planned out a meal and snack plan and have been doing good. :-)

Three years since I started this thread and I’ve put another 70 ,000 miles on her. She is running better than ever. At this point I think I will run her to next big failure and then give her up cheap to a guy with little cash but time to repair the big one.... or 300,000 miles, whichever comes first.

I know last year I was easily offered $3k for my not so special XC. Just drive around with a for sale sign on it - When I said the amount I practically had people willing to drive the money to me.

In order to learn how to fix something, you must first learn how to break it.

I think 3500 is fair. Considering it was been well maintained. And being a 99' you can use VIDA
00 S70 GLT SE T5 Swap
00 V70R
99 V70 T5
01 E46 325XI Touring
09 FX35 Clown shoe
16 Jetta GLI

Quick up date on Elizabeth

Second last kid graduates May, Last Kid graduates SEP 2020

At the point, as my last few drivers shuffle off to a lifetime of hard work and disappointment (Arrested Development (tm)) There will be mass exodus of cars from my upstate NY abode.

Elizabeth now as 245k on her, and by SEP will have 260k. Rather than kill her in the next 2 years at 25k miles per year, Im looking for that 5-10k per year driver to take her to sunset over the next 5 years.

My local speed kid has a lot of cash, but Im not sure Im up for watching her get lowered and pimped out.

She comes with a free Miata with a waterfall grill, too.

They don't just die at 300 k, mine's not much different now than at 225k, who's to say 25k per year will kill her?
