Well I thought you were trying to ID where they fitted AND the part numbers.

Still can't find the part number for the RH one, but I got the following info from the Foreman at local dealer:

This is the easiest way to find out what they are:

outside temp sensor for Instrument panel
wiring color-- grey/black and green/black

outside temp sensor for ME7 engine control module
wiring color-- brown/pink and yellow/grey

So the one you show in your hand is the 2nd one listed for engine temp control for ME7. Still can't find the part number an there is none on my temp sensor either to help.

Looking at your picture again, what is busted on it? From your last picture it looks like the one in my picture.

OK, great - I'll go with the idea that they are BOTH external ambient temp sensors. I was worried that if thy were in fact sensing something else it might effect engine performance in some way. Thanks all

You are welcome!

Neil.

P.S. Sorry about the part number, but as suggested a part from u-pull/PnP might be worth a shot as a spare. The 9125063 part # is around $32 from Tasca new as a guide.

The passenger side temp sensor does affect the engine.
It tells the ECU what the outside temp is and that's
an input variable for a number of functions.
