98 s70 GLT Misfire

When I replaced the spark plug wires, cap, distributor, and plugs on my 98V70 T5 I got misfires as well. I was using bougicord wires, bosh cap and distributor with correctly gapped OEM plugs. I fixed the misfires by CORRECTLY adding a small amount of dielectric grease to plug / wire of the cylinder that was misfiring. Not sure if this will work for you but it did for me. See this youtube video for the correct way to apply dielectric grease to your spark plug wires.

Autolite makes hundreds of plugs, which one did they sell you? The part number.

Yeah OK that 3923 Autolite plug should be fine on a 98 LPT, gapped 0.028 to 0.030. Check into Robert's intake idea too.

well it finally stopped raining for 5 min lol so i put the dielectric grease on all 5 boots drove for almost 2 hours and everything seems fine now and plus got my power back too i hope it stays that way lol will tell in the morning on cold start up thank you all again will keep ya'll posted

well just went to the store and not even 2 minutes driving the bitch showed up again LOL meaning the CEL random misfire now and misfire on cylinders 2/4/5 again cleared and drove another 20 minutes and nothing this is weird drives like a champ no air leaks nothing... how does it misfire after doing a tune up ?

Re-install old spark plugs and wires and see if problem persists.
