I say pop the timing cover, take a flashlight and inspect timing belt hydraulic tensioner for leaks, water pump, rollers. If all check out....enjoy the drive. Then at home order parts and replace timing components and water pump

It's a no-brainer! At 20k and 8 years, just look at it for cracks for a little peace of mind (I expect it will look immaculate), then drive it home and do a refresh.

Start it before you buy it and let it warm up to full temp. If the belt is quiet and the cooling fan turns on you are likely good to go. Keep rpm under 3K as much as possible. Stop after 30 min to 1 hour and listen again for any noise from that area. I am always more concerned with the roller, tensioner pulley, tensioner and water pump than the belt.

They guys are right to suggest pulling the inspection cover and make sure the belt is tight before doing anything. Make sure to keep the cover on while driving.

Thankfully I made it home with no issues. :). I'm still gonna go ahead and change the belt and everything
