2000 V70 bumping from second down to first

OK
I did a trans oil flush yesterday using the top line to the rad method... nice and clean way to do it!! I then replaced the upper torque mount that was bad and VOILA!!!!! no more bumping of the transmission!!!!

BTW you can reset adaptations and do a fluid counter reset on a P80 5 speed Aisin but there is no drive cycle menu in Vida unless you have a P2 series. Primarily this is because the DIM doesn't have a triangle to advise optimal shifts.

If you have Vida you can verify this. It will take about 600 miles with city driving to adapt the TCM.

Good that you got a result without doing above. Just hope it sticks for you.

I have an autel maxisys pro that can reset the adaptations and reset fluid change counter. Good point I will do that this morning
