Maybe I should try reversing the sensor polarity?

I still don't think you have a clear decision on ignition vs fuel. You can easily be fussing with the wrong part of the car which is fun, but not very productive

Fuel pump is running and there is fuel at the rail.
When checking for spark, it comes and goes, not consistent spark.
When no start condition, checked the plugs and they are dry. Something is holding back the injectors. Wires on injector relay looks good and have been re crimped. Have also tried another relay but same condition.

The chances that you have an intermittent failure on both ignition and fuel are pretty small. One of these is the culprit.

What is the fuel pressure at the rail? 15 psi looks a lot like 50 psi if you just see a spritz, but at 15 psi the car won't start

I hear you. Just put it all back together, crank and crank..no start. Pulled the plugs, bone dry.
Even if pressure was off, injector would still pulse and let fuel into cylinders

Pump was changed for new OEM last year, relay bridged and pressure "looks" good. Dont see how changing transmission would mess with my fuel pressure..

When cranking spark at coil is very intermittent, for a long time no spar, then a few seconds with spark and so on.
Odd thing is, the longer i crank (after having cranked a minute or two) the more spark i get
