When it comes to general replacement parts, Dorman, A1 Cardone, store brands, etc aren't even considered unless I'm in a bind. J-u-n-k. Yes, I'm a parts snob. Outside the Volvo realm suspension parts have to be Mevotech (Supreme), Moog or OEM. Bearings: Federal-Mogul / National Hub (same people). Ignition parts: Bosch, NGK. Sensors: AC Delco, Bosch, Standard (NOT the 'X' cheapies). I could go on and on, but it's personal conjecture and nobody cares. I've been burned on junk replacement parts enough times in the last 25 yrs to know what my 'go to' brands are. Most recent burn was the radiator I bought from FCPEuro... and I see they dropped the brand.
I went out of my known 'will last a log time' comfort zone and now have Kumho PA31's on the S60. I'm a General & Dunlop guy from my truck days and left Castrol on the oil change I did today for Pennzoil Platinum. We'll see how that works out.
