BTW (By the way), I seen some S60 seats in an S70 a few days ago. I almost fell asleep just looking at them.

Great work! My front passenger seat skin is starting to wear out... I'll be doing this job next time I find a good seat skin in the junkyard.

I am slow at catching up on a few things. I did the swapping out of the seats on my '99 after I got it. Didn't like the hog nose pliers to begin with, as I tried to put the ring in place and then grab it with the pliers. All wrong. You load the pliers with the ring and then reach in the hard to get to section, catch the two metal pieces and squish, it's hooked. Once learned, it cut my work time to nothing.

The straight hog ring pliers are a bitch to work with. If you have VIDA, you'll see that the upholstery pictures in there show a set of hog ring pliers with the tip angled at 45 degrees. They'd be, no doubt, much earlier to use in reskinning seats than the straight tipped hog ring pliers.
