Your options are M56L or M56H. Have you carefully read the available threads?

Would I run into any major issues using a 01' volvo v70 manual trans for use in the auto to manual swap regarding the 850 Wagon?

How I am understanding it is, I'd use the 01 manual trans. Then use the 93-97 SM Flywheel and clutch/pp/tob/hydraulics parts. It would be interchangeable to use the shifting cables, shifter arm assembly lever, brake clutch pedal assembly.

I can choose to swap the console bezel or modify it, which ever is suitable to my needs.

Is the above inaccurate information?

If you want to use the 01 trans.

93-97 single mass flywheel, clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and pedals with switches.

01 transmission and hydraulics part.

01 shifter with cables. or Any M56h shifter or cables, makes no difference.

geeze the 01 hyd. parts are pretty pricy. Might be staying all pre 97 after all. lol
