VOL-FCR Software?

Ah, of course the VS guys figured it out, they're the tech guys in the Volvo world. But I wouldn't doubt that it won't work properly, I am moderately knowledgeable when it comes to computers, and I couldn't figure it out. I went through two adapters, one from eBay and one from BestBuy. I had the proper drivers and the scanner was on the right port, Vol-FCR just wouldn't connect properly. I've been running a USB VAG-COM cable since then, and it's been great.

The serial -USB requires the USB to be found on a specific com-prot.misha wrote:Newer versions of vol-fcr have usb to obdII cable.
I heard that serial to obdII with usb adapter will not work properly....if it works at all.....but some guys at volvospeed.com claims that they had success with it.
So yes it will work but com1 needs to be forced on the adaptor.
