Thanks. I ordered a new sensor. I checked the battery connections and they look fine. I'd actually given them a thorough scrubbing when I changed battery. Nothing looked loose. Any other ideas?

That looks like an evap hose that is loose - and that will cause bad idling, running, and those P04xx codes, misfire, etc.
They don't put hoses that go to nowhere on cars anymore!!

Thanks. Now just to find out where that hose was originally connected. Is there maybe a hose diagram for that part of the car?
Even more pressing now is the electrical issue as the car won't turnover 100% of the time as opposed to 50% like before. Just a click and that's it. Hopefully it's the battery needing re-charged. The two main battery lugs up top are tight as a drum. Are there other battery connections I should check? Any other thoughts on potential causes for this?
Also, where do I insert the tube for blowing the smoke? I'd seen where Robert DIY used one of the nipples on the vacuum tree which is what I did. Do I have to block anything off for this to work?
