But a bad CPS would result in no spark, and the OP has spark. I suppose the cam sensor could be failing not dead, and therefore causing intermittent spark, that would be unusual but is possible.
Bad crank sensor would be the same. It just makes sense to check the with-spark problems first, because OP saw spark.
