Should ask dealer for old one. Maybe we can figure out a DIY fix for future benefit.

You don't have to drive a new one off the lot for it to depreciate significantly at this point. I believe new cars depreciate before your signature even dries...

He also never has to work on it. Just tires & oil changes with the occasional wash & wax I bet.

My top is stuck down. The latches won't unlatch. The right side part you insert the flat head in has separated partially from the mechanism. Does that side operate the latches? I can turn the Allen wrench and it wants to rise and fall but can't bc the latches aren't unlatched. Advice appreciated.
