May be worth a call to someone like Erie Vo-vo and ask if they have a trans or what trans fits your car? I appreciate the willing to take a chance but with the amount of labor/effort to remove and install a trans it may be worth considering your options. They at least have a lifetime warranty on their used parts.

That's good to know, and I'll definitely give them a look. I agree, it's a lot of work to take a gamble on the condition.
