So after thinking for a while what can cause this and checking few things I came to conclusion that perhaps its the belt that is driving the alternator is the cause this issue. I suspect the belt was too old and was slipping under high load and low RPM... the humidity and high temperatures would make this worse as well ...
So yesterday after making a makeshift tool to loosen the driving belt I have replaced it with a brand new Continental unit ... drove the car for around 10kms and so far it seems to be all good... the lights do not dim or cut out and there is no flicker in the clusters backlight....
Hopefully this would resolve the issue I'll update you after few more days when I can take the car on a proper drive.
