P2 cloth A-pillar cover retrofit with plastic

I would think just remove the cloth and expose the plastic undermeath?.or is it the wrong colour?

I found buying trim parts extremely frustrating, volvo has the same part number for different colours and there is a grey beige and a sand beige which used sellers call both colours beige. You have two use your "trim code" to source the correct colour trim. I bought a whole parts car with the wrong trim code

I bought earlier model plastic ones off eBay. While you could peel the fabric back and sand them down to paint, to me it appeared you would not be able to get the texture right.

The page you linked at FCP says "Fits all Volvos" not "only fits 2007-2014 XC90." Seems pretty hopeful.

Update,

Bought the "Ticket Clip" PN 31403186 ($5.70 @ FCPEuro) for my 2006 S60, it is a perfect fit...
