Unless you read it otherwise, ETM data appears to have settled after adjusting to recently RESTORED CRANKCASE, i.e., PCV overhaul.
MAF value is close to Fitness (Normal), i.e. 5-10 kg/h.

There is no IACV and the butterfly doesn't fully close so I conclude it's the air used to keep her idling. I got nearly the same readings on the new ETM I just installed.
ECM-Leakage air thru throttle blade - 8.8
ECM- Throttle Angle - 0%
ECM - Mass Air Flow - 10.3kg/h
The engine was warm at 186f and was in park.

Engine System Service Required comes back immediately after Erase All procedure.
ECM-9180 & ECM-959F Accelerator Pedal (AP) Position Sensor - faulty signal. VIDA says to check CAN communication fault for 9180 & 959F.
Symptoms are non responsive gas pedal, limp, surging, white smoke, and shakes at idle, however no CEL.
Battery voltage drops below 12v while on POS II. Is it OK to plug portable charger to battery while using DiCE over OBD-II?

As car is drive by wire, loss of pedal position sensor will default to idle. Looks like the sensor itself, or the wires. I am surprised there is no CEL, but the service engine warning is perhaps enough.
The sensor is integrated with the pedal on later XC70's. I could not identify the part for your car from FCPEuro or iPD - perhaps a call?

VIDA Diagnostic says to keep battery at 12v when working with OBD-II. It wouldn't stay above 11.4v at POS II with .5A battery charger plugged.
The "Engine System Service Required" pops up at POS II after "Erase All" procedure to which CAN-net says to check B+ terminal at the fuse box, and a wire port #5 (starter motor connection?).
Multimeter reads battery terminal +/- 12.34v while DiCE reads the same 11.8v with .5A battery charger plugged.
Meanwhile, found following in VIDA. It too is integrated with the gas pedal.

11.4v is very low. May be the battery has failed, but I would check for a parasitic drain in multiple ignition key positions.
There are multimeters that have a amperage clamp. You open the clamp, close it around a wire and can read current flow without disconnecting the circuit. Otherwise, use a regular multimeter is current measuring mode. Be sure to revert the meter to volts after as it is acting like a short in current mode.

Last two weeks were spent learning to use Windows 7 x64, power supply for DiCE unit during diagnostic, battery disconnect and reconnect. After months of struggle with VIDA/DiCE malfunctioning since the "D" upgrade, the decision was to order a new VIDA/DiCE 2014D from our trade-war partner.
After few reset and relearn procedures, the only ECM which returns consistently with all its symptoms is this:
ECM-9180 & ECM-959F Accelerator Pedal (AP) Position Sensor - faulty signal.
VIDA says to check CAN communication fault for 9180 & 959F for possible weak battery issue. Freeze Frame data confirmed strong battery (battery was plugged to a constant charger).
EingeeringBloke, you're right. The sensor is integral to Accelerator pedal, part number: 30683516. Being used to '97 850 NA, it is indeed a wired and different beast.

Dont replace anything until you have a solid 12.5V battery connected to this system Low voltage will wreak havoc with the P2 cars and even the bastard P80s

Battery connected to trickle charger, DiCE plugged, and key inserted, the voltage on VIDA reads 12.8v/POS 0, 12.4v/POS I, & 12.1v/POS II. It appears communication over DiCE requires POS II.
I've not been able externally power DiCE using a 12vdc wall power adapter. If OBD II is the only source for DiCE to communicate in real time then Jimmy57's suggestion of IOTA DLS-55 for a constant power of 12.5v is worth considering, unless...

Taking a look for any visible sign at the sensor itself. Can it be tested and repaired?
Unplug at sensor. Clip the zip tie and tuck away the connector. You will need extension to reach the two bolts above -- removed three 10mm 6Mx1.0 long bolts. All three had RED thread locking sealant - takes some effort in tight place with contorted limb. Once unscrewed, pullout each bolts - be careful with wires.
