"Claimed" it's probably not making over 310whp tops. It still has an auto box and I burnt mine out with just shy of 300whp

it would be pretty hard to get 400 with stock turbo pipe. the cold side of the piping looks interesting.

Biggest issue I see with a lot of the cone type intakes is they draw their air from the inside of the engine bay. Makes no sense. You need to draw cold air to make any real difference. I've also seen the cone filters used in a surround but they still used the standard intake tube so they can still not draw much more cold air than a standard unit. You than have to change the air filter to turbo pipe to make a difference as the standard has too many restrictions.

Check on ARD I just ordered their snabb fresh air intake piping should make a big difference. Still using the stock filter as I believe it'll flow way better then one of those overpriced "hot air" cone filters

Be prepared for a wall of text lol, I'll try to keep it interesting.

So I'm about to make some big changes so let me run you guys up to date... cars been running great and only been running on e85 first 2 years no problem. About a year ago I did a fresh transmission swap because the synchros were pretty thrashed to begin, so I went with a 5 speed out of an N/A p2 car (steel synchros, more rpm on highway) alot of people mistake steel synchros for steel shift forks that come in the earlier model m56s that all have brass synchros. I had to order a 23 spline clutch went with spec stage 3+ again, the one pulled out looked perfect.
Edit: also had the turbo rebuilt with a upgraded thrust washer kit at the same time as the trans

The car trapped about 110 in the quarter, on only 20psi, turbo gauge just past the white, (1 car behind a e85 tuned 2020 mustang 5.0) and that was max boost, it kept blowing a hole in the rubber seal on the cbv, even with an upgraded one. I added turns to the actuator, and found that just ramps the boost quicker, and doesn't make any more.

2 months ago I went to a tial recirculating blow off valve (we cant have a blow off to atmosphere, because the maf I learned the hard way  ) I reccomend this to anyone running over a 18t. Then I threw a catch can on it and watch out. The boost gauge was a little past the coolant symbol  I dont know much boost that is. Never tracked it but my best gauge of speed was my buddies Audi a6 with the supercharged v6. He has some pully upgrades, trans tune, heat exchanger ran 11.9s at 116. I pulled him by a car or 2. It was all good for a few weeks, had a unsuspecting scatpack and s4 try to race me, and heard a pretty loud bang then the car went rich. Thought i blew a boost hose, all was good car started and drove. Didnt think anything of it.

A week later went to do a pull and seen a huge cloud of white smoke. Diagnosed it as blown turbo, pulled it off the shaft split in half. Did a leak down on it and #4 was leaking 55% (built motor), and I already ordered the turbo lol, picked up a EFR7163. Going to pull the head off soon and see if the block is good, if so I'll be back moving soon, if not looks like it might be down for the winter, and put some nice Darton sleeves in her 😉
