Hello, everyone, sorry I haven’t replied in a while. I took another look under my car and put it up on 4 jack stands. While someone was changing the gears back and fourth from Park to reverse, I noticed underneath the multi link suspension assembly there was a sharp twisting like movement of a rubber sandwiched bushing between the aluminum frame and rusty cast iron differential unit.
I guess there is a bunch of these anchorage rubber mounts that secure the fiberglass leaf spring they all seem to be chewed up from 190k miles. I would like to replace all of them but I can’t find any aftermarket or oem parts online, I sure hope they are not insanely expensive, it seems that the multi link 960 is so complex and expensive to fix sometimes.
Sorry for the long explanation I’ve also included some pictures of which anchorage bushing I’m describing

Well, I looked around everywhere online and found a website called skandix I have enclosed some pictures below of the actual parts that I will need to rebuild most of the components for the rear fiberglass spring. Unfortunately, I can’t find these parts available anywhere as they are discontinued. I also looked around at some of these genuine Volvo part websites and they want like 145.00 for one rubber bushing, which is insane!! There has got be a a way I could fabricate something out of a universal leaf spring isolator pad??? I hope I won’t end up junking this car!!

I'm ignorant on this topic, but I thought there was a way to make a traditional rear end setup.
I would have see your rear-end setup on a lift to examine.
I recall a Craigslist ad, where person suggested a fixed rear-end setup could be done.

I called my local Volvo dealer and I am still waiting for them to contact Volvo directly as they say they might be discontinued or back ordered.
Here are the part numbers
(Bushings closest to wheels) 6819182
(Middle of axle) 6819183
(Near driveshaft yoke at base of differential)6843603
I guess this should cover all the chewed up rubber pieces on the rear suspension??
