I texted Robert this morning asking if he minded if I set up a GoFundMe for him for this unfortunate happening. He said that Paypal would be best if people want to contribute, as GFM takes a large percentage of what is raised.

We are going to set up a Tool Drive here on MVS and compile a list of tools needed and then log donations so that people can give what they have extra, to get the Legendary Spinner back up and running.

Just a suggestion. Is there a way or possibility of having Robert provide a list of tools from various websites so we can purchase what he needs? I know there are people working on this already but just in case it becomes a tools drive and he winds up things he can't use or redundant in numbers. We all have our gotta have that one tool in mind if... Trying to be efficient so no one waste their efforts, resources and missing the mark on helping Robert. Thanks.

Glad to see the Volvo community coming together once again! People suck... I'm definitely going to keep my tools closer when I'm at the junkyard. I have a habit of putting my tools down and going through other cars nearby.

Junkyard shouldn't allow cars inside yard. They are just inviting the "getaway car" scenario. Also don't they have a camera system employed at the entrance? They should be liable for your loss Robert. Our local junkyards have security gates and checks as we leave and we're only allowed inside on foot.
Did you approach the junkyard manager? Perhaps they have footage?!!
