Without a key, no one is defeating the immob on a 2001, its a good system. I can barely get mine started with a key.
But what about the gear shift? If a truck pulls my car the car would be stuck in park unless the thief gets in and finds the override to shift into neutral. BTW, where is the shifter override at on an 01 v70?
They just drag it away either on the front wheels or until the AT park pawl breaks. It isn't a rocket surgery business.
