So the hesitating at idle and during acceleration goes away with the MAF unplugged? That suggests bad MAF, or sometimes a poor connection in the MAF connector. You can drive it around for a couple days or a week with the MAF unplugged, by the way, until you sort this out. It will run rich but no other bad fallout.

I should backpedal on "bad MAF" statement: keep in mind it is still worth checking the vac lines, as the MAF's job is to meter the air in the intake and report it to the ECU, and a vac leak will foil a working MAF and show similar behavior to a bad MAF. You can swap in a junkyard MAF to test, that's one way to tell. Basically every MAF at the junkyard is working just fine. But examine and fix all vac lines, if it persists then you have pretty much nailed it as a bad MAF.

Replacement MAF must be Bosch, there is a very long list of people having problems with other brands. If yours is not Bosch then get a replacement for sure.

Your reading my thoughts, I picked up a Bosch MAF for 35.00 used. It won't be here for a few days. I have alternative transportation until then. I purchased the IPD replacement vac lines and PCV kit, i'ts due also. That may take a little while to get installed due to funds. I will give an update after I replace the MAF . Thanks again for your efforts on this issue.
