Figuring out Trim level

6 & 7th digits of VIN number is the engine code.

For subset: 1999 AME V70s.
53 = B5234T3 : Used in T5 only. (2.3L turbo, third revision)
62 = B5234T8 : Used in R AWD only. (2.3L turbo, eight revision)
56 = B5254T : The only 2.4 Turbo used in 1999 V70s.
55 = B5254S : The only 2.4 NA used in 1999 V70s.

If the engine code is 53 it is a T5.
If the engine code is 62 it is a R AWD.
If the engine code is 56 It can be anything that came with a 2.4 turbo.
If the engine code is 55 It can be anything that came with a 2.4 NA.
