This is first rebuild of strut for me and decided to reinstall original, FCP has a Mayle strut on sale for 50 bucks, but I decided against them. Does anybody have any experience or info on these.
Thanks
Got all 4 meyle. It feels kinda on the "ya get what ya pay for" quality. Believe its almost on par with sachs; struts seem well built, almost exact, and rear shocks are a bit slower to raise than a worn one from a 13 yr old sachs, so I believe you should skip the shocks and just leave the whole thing alone (or atleast check before you buy).Either way, I got a better ride than I expected coming from a destroyed 13 yr old struts, and what I believed were still decent shocks. I also just don't have good comparison to other brands atm, but i'd definetly buy it again for a car that has poor resale and expensive maintenance requirements.
