Removing rear delta link end link bushing, jack up one side of the car?

Drilling has worked better for me than heat/melting.
Also less messy option.

Thanks for all answers! I'll might do both heat and drilling. Is there consensus that you need to remove the passenger side of the rear sway bar?

I am a new member here but have read several Forums on the Delta link bushing change. I was wondering if you had finished your links changes and if you may be interested in Loaning out the tool. When I look at purchasing the tool, it seems to have a very high failure rate. The tool looks to be made of aluminum. This may have been fine when these cars were only a few years old but now that we are talking 20 years these someone need to build a tool from steel. I wish I had a Machine shop or would build my own.

Well I did the Delta link end bushing change. It took me a total of 5 hours to do both sides. I did not buy the special tool I made one from a steering wheel universal puller and a piece of bed frame angle iron. Worked like a champ. If anyone is interested I can take a few pics and go further into the process and how I used my own tools. No welding, no bending.

Well done, this is a nasty job. Ive done two, one literally fell apart in my hands, the other one was Hades.
