Should I buy a '99 V70?

Yeah, well they also don't tell you to clean out the PCV system either, if you don't, at 100K you blow a rear main seal.
I suppose they didn't want to have another 5 to $800 dollars (retail) worth of added maintenance, so now the result has been blown rear mains and blown transmissions and a lot of other avoidable crap
You ask any Volvo tech (a GOOD one) who has serviced many cars as in my (large) dealership and he'll tell you all the horror stories
