Hello everyone, boy did I hit the jackpot!! I figured I check the wiring going to the PNP switch and found these lovely crusty green terminals under the plastic connector.
I’m 99% sure this has to be the culprit. I’m really happy I found the problem I was about to junk the car.
Now it’s gonna be hell to find these connector pigtails. This is one thing I hate about Volvo’s is the chintzy connectors that don’t seal out the moisture. Five years ago I remember I couldn’t separate this connector, here are some pics.
