Not sure about the crank, but on my 2.4i 5 cyl I rotated the cams 180 degrees out of phase, they were normally locked and the cam cover went in and only when doing 2 revolutions did I feel the valves. Look at the cams and see if you put them in correctly.

I replaced read assembly, retimed with the correct tools and an not able to get compression. The motor started and ran great prior to. I did not check compression prior to replacing read assembly due to it running well.

This motor has vvt solenoids that control the vvt system. There's a vacuum pump mounted to the intake cam

I had run across timing process for this motor on YouTube. It said the hubs for the cams were to be loose when setting tension on the timing chain. Followed that process. And then torque the hubs into place with the locking tool in place.

I am getting no compression. I had a hint on compression across 2 cylinders when I started checking compression. I have had nothing since. Even after squirting oil in the cylinders.

Which leads me to believe it is not timed correctly.

I have used a snake camera to verify no valve damage on all 6 cylinders. There is minor scoring on the walls of cylinder 3.

The motor has 162,438 Miles on it. What am I missing on this?
The 3.2 is a timing chain i believe. This is also the wrong forum for this as that is a different generation of vehicle (see XC90). The main frequenters here will more likely be familiar with the 5 cylinder engines and not the i6 in the other generations.
