If it needs pads and rotors and all four 4C shocks that’s going to set a person back about $2,000 in parts alone.

The regulators aren’t a big deal, the electrical gremlins could prove to be a major frustration. Sounds like it may need a UEM and maybe a siren/alarm module in addition to 1 or 2 other possibilities.

Sitting in a field for over a year....itsy bitsy mice.

I wonder if it runs.

How much?

If the wheels aren’t all scraped up those could fetch $4-600. People love Pegs.

Ask was not set but think I could have gotten it for under 6 grand. My expert thought I would need 7grand to get it to good condition. Rims were beat up tires were questionable.
My 2001 s60 started to have electrical issues. They are time consuming
Think one code was for dtc module communication

With it needing all that (and who knows what else), it sounds like round about a $2,000-3,000 VR. M66 alone will not permit it to pull $6k with all its other needs, even if mileage is 130-140k.

A lot of the M66’s are beat.

It’s too bad, really. I love finding stuff like that that requires patience, some parts/bucks, and plenty of time, but in the end turns out to be more like a jewel.

I wouldn’t run away from it, but I certainly wouldn’t cough up $6k for it.

Maybe the windows and sunroof were caused by the alarm siren, while the door locks show perhaps the CEM got corrupted from the flat battery and is no longer recognizing the keys - did the engine fire up at all ? That would be tricky, the CEM would need reprogrammed for the keys
Suspension codes are common, airbag may have been a simple code reset. I'm surprised it only has the DTSC button at the center console. Pretty sure the CCM was already replaced with one from another car, which would have caused the airbag light.
The biggest fear would be the manual clutch slave, perhaps the reason he stopped driving it. That alone is a $2000 fix but if the rest of the car was clean, that may be a good project for someone with time money and a way to reprogram the CEM
