To match sand for plastic covering in an S60, I cleaned up one of the door sill trim pieces to use as the match. Excellent results. Or probably the back of a panel, it's going to be original.

Here are before/after pics of the interior of my 2000 XC. You can use it on interior plastic panels or seats/etc.

I got the original idea for this a year ago from a post on Volvoxc.com. I modified it w/things I learned from furniture repair blogs/websites, etc. It works very well and is cheap, just takes some labor.
Behr Marquee is magical stuff. My better half and two of the girls painted the entire downstairs last year, no spatter, single coat of beautiful deep rich burgundy.

Well after having done this in the light of day and in the car, the color I identified earlier are not correct. I'll have to spend some more time with the color sample sheet to ensure a good close match. I'll update this once I have a good match with the SEM colors and codes.
