Fuel pressure damper o-ring part # ?

Some late '96 and ALL '97 non turbo have it...M4.4. cars.
FPR is at the back...behind passenger rear wheel...around fuel filter area.

I pulled mine off the fuel rail, just like in that pic. Don't see anything back by the filter.
Try to learn life's bad lessons vicariously through others.

You have a fuel pressure regulator on your fuel rail.
Only cars which have damper at fuel rail...have fpr at fuel filter area or down to steering rack area.

14x2 mm is what I measured.

It broke coming off, too

Misha. The bore for the damper looks identical to the fuel injector bores. I bet they use the same o rings

I recall the injector o-rings being thicker than that. Closer to 3mm.

Outer diameter is the same like injector's o-ring...but inner diameter is different.
O-ring for FPD is also thinner.
You can see that on the picture from the link from MVS member which i added in my 1st post of this topic.

Doesn't matter...i'll just grab a used damper ...there is one parts car with M4.4 management in my neighbourhood.

I'm surprised that Volvo wants to sell you 50-80€ damper because of a 1-2€ o-ring which can be easily replaced...just like injector ones.
