The secret to our long marriage is we date twice a week. She goes on Tuesday’s, me on Fridays.

I finally got a good used steering rack installed and got the subframe back up and everything back together. Completed a multi-day repair project that I would like to share as a write-up since I documented pretty well with photos.

Power steering fluid was low again on the S60R, right about two years since the last time I had to fill it up while on a trip to MN because of groaning from the PS pump. I pulled the reservoir and found it leaking at the small hose, but everywhere else was dry. So I tightened the factory worm clamp - definitely was too loose - and topped up the fluid. Hopefully this cures it.

drum beat beat.........
Oettinger.......oettingker..........oetiker.....
I managed to rinse and repeat my taillights going out again, fixed again by removing Fuse 5 from the REM and scraping terminals with knife. This crops up every two years. Very strange.

Strange indeed. I’ll have to remember that one.
Did some lighting tasks over here as well.
I cut some holes in the V70 front bumper the other day. It just seemed like it needed it.
Then I decided I didn’t like them anymore. These filled the holes nicely.
Couple other things I monkeyed with too to get things up and running. NONE of this would have been possible without the finalizing touches from Yagger! Thank you so much Sergey!
Final product = functional fogs + can use with brights/high beams. Dealer price on these was $285 light kit + $115 for programming. I got my lights off eBay UK & paid Yagger to remote configure CEM, total of 1/3 the cost.
Very nice of Volvo to pre-wire these cars for fog lights.
Also did dual fog light setup on V70R w/PIAA LP270’s.

Swapped out the exhaust camshaft rear seal on the T5 I bought just one month ago that was quite literally puking oil anywhere I parked.
Was an absolute pain because the last person who fiddled with it took the trouble of removing everything related to the seal, but didn't actually change it and instead slathered the camshaft position sensor and it's cover in silicone, so I had to replace that too.
My back still hurts

Locked my self out of the 2005 tailgate
The REM relay wiring went bad on this, and it locked itself after several uses (probably inertial closing of the lock ring)
I’ve removed the inner trim so that I can pop it as needed
I really like having a key on the tailgate, or an internal handle
