The back of the foam looks symmetrical and this is the blank air bag housing.
I read your seat post. Did you cover lumbar hole on the outside or inside and what glue? Thanks for offer, but I should have enough material from old seat.
Is not having the special stitching on my car's air bag side a real issue? And what do people do with the air bag on the frame I'm going to scrap
Sorry for so many questions!

Robert's brackets came today in great shape so I polished up the spoiler and slapped it on.
No tape for now as I need to paint it.

Robert is home for a few days, he does like talking Volvo on the phone.

Val attended the classic car show at Bridge of Allan today. I've been going to this show since 2006 and in 2007 I won car of the show with Tilly, my 1947 Rover P2. Weather today was perfect, some sunshine then a bit of cloud to cool us all down, then some more sunshine.

Tilly is a beauty, I owned her for 13 years after bringing her back from Australian in 2003. She was built in Solihull in 1947 and shipped to Sydney Australia. If you are bored and can't sleep you can read all about her in this link... https://1947rover.wordpress.com/

The varnish on the dash was all cracked when I bought the car. Lucky for me there was plenty coats of varnish on allowing me to spend many hours with wet & dry and Farecla G3 then G10 before polishing and waxing. I guess the Ozzy sunshine was a bit harsh on the varnish.

Yesterday I replaced rear panhard/tie-rod on the '99 V70 XC AWD 2.4T and the sway-bar link as they both snapped in two. They did not come quietly...

Nice job saving that Unicorn Tooth offset washer bolt with the washer groove.

Washers and nut available , the bolt is not

You can see the slit weakens the bolt that if you just twist it without heat and lube, it will snap like a carrot

I gooped the heck out of it afterwards with axle grease down the length and fluid film on the ends. Since the last one lasted 25+ years, this will likely be the last time this needs to be done. Still have a new spare bar here which will live in the trunk. Have to zip tie the ABS harness on that side as the plastic guide for that is long gone.
