DennisCA. - If your car wash was inside a building like we have here (you are not allowed to wash your car outside your house), when you open the nice toasty interior to the wash bay, the cols air immediately fogs the inside.
So unless you have a blocked drain from under the hood area pushing water into the cabin filter or the fuse box area, you likely don't have any leaks. No harm checking under the carpets. Especially on the LHS at the front for a leaking cabin heater core.

Worked on the front brakes. While I was in there checking runout (had to reclock the left side, which is missing the guide pin), cleaning up the sliding parts and lubing it, I noticed that both front dust shields bulged inwards to slightly brush against the rotor. This was right in the middle, at the bottom where it's contoured to clear the ball joint.
This resolved the squeal I had at low speed, and 98% of the time the brakes are quiet. I do have some squeal at a very specific low speed and low brake pressure. I think it's the right rear this time. I have not checked the rear brakes yet so I don't know if I have the TSB anti-squeal shim yet.
Cleaning the speed sensor connections briefly gave me proper speedometer/odometer readings but this was short lived and it's back to only reporting half what it should be. I think the wires themselves are too corroded

Clean up on aisle 7 please. I repeat, cleanup at aisle 7.
Found another junkyard that does pick’n pull. Its a bit further out, but it’s worth the drive.
They built the junkyard on an existing parking lot where the cars are not stacked on top of each other.
Yesterday, I got some blend door motors, parking brake sensor, fog light relays, interior temp sensor and windscreen fluid filler neck.
Today I went back, because I lacked the tools to grab the caliper mounts for 302 rotors.
I also took the right side calipers front and rear. As opposed to the left side, these were recently replaced/refurbed.
At checkout, surprisingly, I got the caliper mounts for free!
Also, there was a new v70 on the lot. I wanted to check that out since it was “untouched”.
What I got was the roof strips, upper cover from steering housing, air inlet hose for air intake and ecm.
And last but not least. A cargo cover! The mechanism isn’t working. As I already have one now, I can fix it up and flip it with ease.
Might compare which parts looks nicer and swap things around.

You can tell it isn’t a Swiss junkyard, all the cars would be centered in the spaces and the hood lined up

WUT? A PAVED junkyard with cars lined up, not stacked two-high, and already lifted off the ground??
At first glance I thought you were stripping parts off cars at a shopping mall.
