Recharged the A/C, glad it still works. Discovered the driver door will now only open from the outside but will unlock with the handle from the inside. Pulled the mileage from the ABS, mikeri's windows download made it super easy. I used the Bafx OBDII bluetooth reader with windows 10 and had no problems.

Replaced my original alternator Friday, then yesterday I went to the junkyard and scored a nice Weather Tech mat and some other parts, then I swapped out my broken hood release cable and put in my like-new Meyle belt tensioner I got at the junkyard.
On today's list is to put in the bottom alternator bolt that seems to be missing and replace my passenger side axle seal.

Got the new axle seal in a little bit ago. A 1 1/2" PVC end cap worked pretty well to drive the seal in along with a 1/2" socket extension to even it out. Plus my good friend P0455 popped back up today. I thought shortening the cracked evap L hose would have gotten rid of the evap leak, but apparently not.
The car looks good with the fog light grilles. I just need the center grille/splash shield now.

'99 V70 XC AWD 2.4T with 'high' chassis number -- New ignition switch.

Turns out Advance Auto sells Intermotor part # CS1054 which when you open the box - is a GENUINE VOLVO IGNITION SWITCH P/N 9459503 with an 8 pin connection. A welcome surprise. It also comes with two slightly longer Torx machine screws which are required as there was a small modification in fitment. I believe they're 2-4mm longer.

The date stamp on my existing switch was from 98 - which makes it the original. It was replaced due to it intermittently shutting the car down while driving - almost always in a turn or on an incline.

Special thanks to @Abscate.

Picked up a set of N/A cams! I'm hoping to get a tune, turbo, and injectors for this thing soon so I can put these in.

I changed the my oil, finally.

Also, swapped out my cousin's 2007 C70 Coolant Expansion tank... Can't believe those don't have coolant level sensors!

That's comforting... you would think something like that is pretty important!
