Remember that these arent suddenly infected people, they are just infections that are now being counted.

I think it is inevitable that over the next 12 months, about 1/2 of the country will catch this bug.

So awful to hear about that family... it's crazy that they were all hit so hard by this. I wonder if it's somehow a genetic thing, like someone mentioned before?
