Usually I do most of the work myself, but If I could not, I would have already sold my T5R. Repairs are very costly if you have to pay for labor. Also there are always surprises that can cause a repair to take much longer. Parts availability is slowly getting worse.
I sold my s70 mainly for this reason, it was just too much effort for me to keep 2 old cars running.

But it depends I guess, on what car you would get instead. Might be a worse deal to get an early 2000's car that is even more expensive to repair. I'd get something newish and simple, or something that is very common in your area and can be easily repaired.
Depends on your needs of course...

Hi,

Yeah i am still thinking this over. I saw a Chevy 2012 for sale for something like $5000 i wonder what is wrong with it.
I’ve been driving a Volvo long before anyone ever paid me to drive one.
That's probably because I've been driving one since 2015 and nobody has offered to pay me yet.

A 2010 Ford or Chevy will be pretty cheap to service and maintain as there are many more independents and chains that can do domestic stuff. However, they lack panache, verve, and élan of Volvos; documented by the lack of
Oxford commas and semicolons in their respective Fora.

Hi,

So what's your point? (ha ha ha)

But, they are a panache in the ass, and verve hard to fix, and are apt to give you m-elan-oma (har har).

I'll kill for a car with cheap parts and even McDonalds can fix. I can't afford all those fancy words :D

The Fords and Chevys MAY be cheaper to fix, but when they break, MVS won't be much help.
